Cox Digital Solutions is revealing the results of a recent study conducted by comScore on the engagement and online buying behavior of their audience. The findings show that users are spending more time on Cox Digital Solutions’ network of sites and are more active online consumers than the average Internet user.<span id="more-1594"></span><br /><br />

This study validates that Cox Digital Solutions connects advertisers with users who are more engaged, in some cases two times more, with the sites that they are visiting. As a result, Cox Digital Solutions’ audience is spending more time with an advertiser’s message thus increasing brand awareness and propensity to buy. In addition, the findings show that users who visit Cox Digital Solutions sites spend almost 50 percent more money online than the average U.S. Internet user.<br /><br />

The study, conducted May – July 2011, looked at the anonymous online behavior of Cox Digital Solutions’ users versus the base comScore audience. The study included Cox Digital Solutions local network, which delivers advertising across local media sites throughout the US, and also their national vertical content network, which is comprised of contextually relevant sites among more than 20 vertical categories.
